Making sure that your website is SEO ready

To improve the visibility of your website in search engine results, you can apply SEO values in site title and meta description. You can change the site title and description in settings which is located in the left menu.

Write a Winning Site Title

Title tags are the most important tag for your site's SEO. Like the title of a chapter in a book, your title tag tells people and search engines what your page is about.

Your title will appear in the title bar of your web browser and also describes your Site in the search engine results.

Site title should contain important keywords to help search engines determine what your page is about. This is displayed in search engine as a preview of your site and important for SEO and social sharing.

Tip: Real people read the title tag before deciding whether or not to click on the results. You can help your potential visitors decide by making site title people-friendly.

Write a Winning Site Description

 Meta description

A winning site description can influence users' decision to click through your site. CTRs (click through rates) is a ranking factor in search results ranking. A website that has high organic CTRs will be pushed to a good position in search results; it tells the search engine bot that this site has what most people are interested in for the phrase that was used in search.

Also, higher CTRs means more people visit your site which also mean, it can increase the conversion rate.

Advanced SEO methods for the Pro

Write unique title and description for each page. When all pages can be discovered by search engines, it maximises the SEO benefit. You can edit page SEO values in page located at the left menu:

You should also consider choosing niche and related keywords that you repeatedly use on various pages on your website's content as well as in the blog posts that you write. Research keywords on Google Trends before you embark on writing your website's content.
If you have pages that are work in progress or you would like to keep as part of a discovery experience on your website, use the 'No Index' feature to prevent Google from indexing that page on their search results. Do remember to change this setting if you are duplicating pages that as the setting will carry forward and Google will NOT index your page.
